“This course was well presented and well structured, starting with more theoretical components and progressing to the actual techniques that are used to solve intelligence problems and present reports. In my opinion, the course covers all the important areas of intelligence analysis and the instructor provides plenty of opportunities to practice each technique before moving onto the next one. To gain the most value from the course, it is best to take advantage of each of those opportunities, as those exercises allow for better learning and retention of the concepts. Overall, I believe that this training is excellent and I would definitely recommend it for anyone interested in pursuing a career in this particular field.”

This course was essential for me to develop my analytical skills in identifying the correct procedures to extract the premises from numerous different facts. Fundamental step to write after hypotheses and recommendation.  I also very much appreciated the explanations relating to the development and assessment of inferences.

In the end, the course was certainly a big support to increase my critical thinking, to learn the fundamental aspects of information analysis, and above all to make me understand how fundamental the figure of an analyst can be in the daily work of law enforcement.

The most enjoyable part was the final exercise. Being able to put everything together was invaluable in retaining the information and being able to use it in a real world example. The least enjoyable part was presentation style, however with COVID this is impossible to avoid. It was made better through the interactive nature of the presentations and use of exercises within to keep the participant engaged.

This was a great program overall, and incredibly helpful in gaining skills that are necessary to put forth high quality analysis. I know that this will prove valuable in my career to come and has helped me look at POIs with a more holistic approach. An in person approach would likely be the best, however given these circumstances the program was a great learning tool. Thank you!
